Tasting note: (with thanks to Bonnie Wai and Joe Wong). This terrific effort has evolved beautifully though it remains youthful (though no longer primary) with its knockout nose that is classic Amoureuses as it combines seductive spice and a ripe blend of red, black and blue fruit aromas that are displaying only hints of maturity. There is good richness and a lovely minerality to the velvety and naturally sweet, fresh and energetic medium full flavors that are supple, classy, balanced and beautifully persistent. For my taste this has just arrived at its prime drinking window though it should remain here for at least another decade. A first rate example. Tasted half-a-dozen time since its release with mostly consistent notes.
